Woodside Plant Centre and the Walled Garden

Here at Woodside we enjoy our sunny situation in a beautiful Victorian Walled Garden. Our plant centre showcases British grown plants, all suitable for planting in our sometimes challenging Scottish climate. We make the best of our situation and have our own thriving vegetable garden, providing seasonal and organic produce to use in our tearoom kitchen, reducing food mile to about thirty footsteps!

We also offer a garden consultancy service and a tool sharpening service, just ask in the shop for details.

Events Workshops & Evening Bookings

Throughout the year we we run events and workshops for gardeners and non-gardeners with details found on our website.

We also have a Loyalty Card Scheme where you collect points when you shop in the plant centre, you then enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea and tasty home made scone or tray bake.

How to find us

When entering from the A68, you turn almost opposite the road to Ancrum to take the B6400, signposted to Nisbet, and we are on the left after about 800m. You can also access a small single track road from A698, Kelso to Jedburgh again signposted to Nisbet. We have our own free car park that is suitable for cars, motorbikes, and minibus only.
